    What we do

Walks come first. Visits and yard pick-ups are there when you need them.

    • Dog walks

A walk on the lead with light obedience work and play, to suit your dog.

    • Home visits & yard pick-ups

Drop-ins, feeding and holiday visits, and yard poo pick-ups, quoted to suit.

Not us: overnight stays, boarding, grooming, or giving medicine. Your dog stays on the lead, and anything health-related goes to your vet.

    Check our availability

Times are Melbourne time. A time you pick is a preference, not a booking. We confirm it when we reply, and regular walks get their own set days.

    Your walker

    James Robert Brown

Experienced kelpie and border collie owner and trainer, with over 4 years of hands-on experience. James does every walk himself and builds light obedience into each one, so your dog comes home tired, happy and a little better on the lead.

    Second in command

    Bunji

Bunji is 3 years old and James's second in command. Chief ear-raiser, car-ride enthusiast and keeper of one very well-loved teddy. First to test every new walk.

    3. Step 3: Agree a price and a plan

    Common questions

How much does a dog walk cost?

Walks are $30 for a half-hour walk and $45 for a full hour, per dog, with light obedience work and play included. Drop-in and feeding visits, holiday visits and yard pick-ups are quoted to suit once you tell us what you need.

Do I need to be home?

No. Walks and visits often happen while you're at work or away. We'll agree how we get to your dog, whether that's a side gate, a lockbox or a key, when you ask for a quote.

    Do you do obedience training?

Light obedience is part of every walk. Obedience training on its own is available by consultation with James, so tell us about your dog and we'll talk it through.

What happens with the yard pick-ups?

We pick up the droppings, bag them and take them away. It can be a one-off clean-up or a regular visit, on its own or alongside a walk.

    Which areas do you cover?

Greater Bendigo, Castlemaine and the towns between, including Big Hill, Ravenswood and Harcourt. If you're just outside, ask anyway.
